HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY BECKER!!! Happy Birthday to my friend and mentor Larry Becker. Few know how much you had to do with getting out my major releases when I began releasing them in the desert, and how huge of a support you have been since my early days in Phoenix. I know you probably won't read this here, but I wanted the rest of the world to know how invaluable you are to me personally, as well as to mentalism and magic. You are a real game-changer, and a true friend.
You were the one who named my Linguistic Deception "Wonder Words", and took my wallet effect naming it first "Kenton's Close Kall" and then later "Kolossal Killer". We dreamed up the start of "Time
Machine" and "Southwest Miracle" during our talks on an airplane. You and Dr. Juris (Robert Bluemle) made sure I became a member of the famous 6 1/2 and named me a "mentalist".
You and your lovely wife April constantly came out to see me work close-up at venues, and would sit behind me, not in front of me. After so many times of your strange seating choices I asked you why you two always sat at my back. You informed me that the show was hilarious from behind me because you got to watch my boldness, and see the faces of astonished people, both at the same time.
You saw me through the worst of times, and the much better times.
You always made me laugh, and to this day, you still do. Few know how truly hilarious you are, and how the mere thought of you makes me want to laugh until I cry.
I could go on and on about you as a friend and mentor, but most of all I want the world to celebrate you and wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY BECKER!!
