Yes, the burglary of Kenton Knepper is real. We wish it were a fake email, but it is not.

Yes, it is true, sad to say.

But Kenton believes the good of most will overcome the ills of the few.
Thank you for caring.

Kenton Knepper here.

Yes, it is true that my home and work were broken into and much was stolen from me last week.

I lost much of what I need to keep my work for mentalism and magic going, as well as items I need to do my expanding new work to help others even more.

Many of you have stepped up and sent kind words, and even generous donations, to help me as I work to rebuild my businesses.

I understand why some people wrote and were concerned about this being a possible email scam or something. I would be skeptical too. Unfortunately this is the real thing.

Some of you have come to my aid, and I thank you for your kindness!

I am just trying to get some basics back so I can retool and rebuild my work for the Mystery Arts, as well as my music and meditation services for people. I don't expect to recoup all that was taken from me.

Many of you have proven that heart and sincere caring is more powerful and lasting than what thieves can take.

I am determined that the people who stole so much will not ruin my family, my works, my heart or me.

I am sure that we can prove to the world that good can overcome adversity and compassion trumps fear and greed. I value whatever you can do.

Thank you for spreading the word, donating what you can, and holding a better thought for us all as we go through this with the help of our family and friends, like you.

Someone said I should offer a sale. Well, we have done those, and there are some on the website right now. However, special sales never brought us much financially, as people don't buy enough to make up for even the smallest fraction of our losses at this point.

So, as humbling as it is at this time of year especially, I am simply asking for help from those who want to do so, and from those who can. I don't want to put anyone out if they cannot afford to do so of course. Nor do I suggest those who do not want to help should. That's just not the way I am.

Thank you all for what you have already done to help us begin to try to move forward a little. We appreciate hearing how my work so far has helped you, and for the help you are giving back to me as we work to move on in more positive ways.

THANK YOU.
