People keep writing to ask me why I am taking 70% of my material off the market in a week. Is it because I am getting out of mentalism and magic entirely? Is this huge change due to health problems?
Since people insist on answers, here you go:
There are wisdom traditions where sometimes the deep secrets are hidden in plain sight, and sometimes available only to initiates who go
through a series of guided paths and trials--not to taunt or test them, but to develop them. Wax on, wax off.
I've been told that to fully understand, internalize and put to use the true depth and subtlety of my work, it should not be spread out like a cheap buffet or mere peddler's wares. My work should not be a part of the current trend I refer to as 'The Walmarting of mentalism and magic.'
Rather, I am
told my works should be taught properly so sincere people can develop their skills well. That's what the new website structure is all about.
In addition, I've decided to help sincere devotees of magic and mentalism sort the wheat from the chaff--distinguish the fool's gold from the philosopher's stone.
There is so much material being put out by others these days. Most of it from people with very little real
life experience or wisdom. So along with my own work, I will look for the best work from others I feel is worth your attention. Usually not the most common or mainstream stuff being hyped on the market these days. The work that receives my sort of 'good Wizard cave keeping seal of approval' we will put on the www.WonderWizards.com website too.
So the reasons for the major changes on my website is that these are for the good of the art,
and for the respect of the sincere person who wants to learn the better quality secrets of mentalism and magic.
Just tricks and new ideas, even when impractical and silly, but look good on video, is not what I am about. It never has been. But so much material made people confused. You won't find that issue on the new www.wonderwizards.com website coming in about a week.
