I’m going to share something that is going to sound mind-boggling ridiculous on first breath. 

It’s going to maybe bend, expand, stretch, challenge and even break your limited understanding of reality.

Keep your skepticism aside for a second and hear me out if you’re a fan, beginner, hobbyist, amateur or professional of magic and mentalism.

Heck, you don’t even have enjoy magic or mentalism. 

You could just as well be a neurosurgeon, millionaire, billionaire, CEO, member of Mensa, PhD, lawyer or rocket scientist.    

Here’s what it’s all about:  There was a Jewish Polish man with balls of steal – the size of bowling balls - named Wolf Messing. 

Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud greatly admired him. 

Adolf Hitler wanted him dead.

Why? 

Messing made an appearance at a Warsaw theater in 1937, and firmly predicted the Third Reich would fall.

This declaration cost Messing dearly. The ringleaders occupying Poland placed a price of 210,000 marks on his head.

Messing realized his life was in danger and decided to flee Poland. While trying to get out, he was caught by a Gestapo officer.

The officer knocked Messing off his feet with a hammer-like blow knocking his teeth out.

He was taken to the police station with his bleeding mouth and thrown in a cell. He realized he had to get out of there immediately or die.

Through a power (I’ll share with you in a second) he made all the policemen gather in his cell. They were about 9 or 10 of them.  As unbelievable as it might sound, these officers locked themselves in their own prison cell and allowed Messing out.  He breathed a sigh of relief only when the bolt on the ironbound door fell into place behind him.

He escaped to the former USSR.

His “powers” came to the attention of Joseph Stalin.

So, in the middle of the night he was blindfolded and whisked away to Stalin by the KGB.  During his first meeting with Stalin, Messing told him straight out…

Stalin was obsessed to verify the authenticity of his supposed “powers.” In one of the most difficult experiments, Messing walked into a bank, presented the teller with a "note,” and requested 100,000 rubles.

The cashier handed over the money to Messing who then packed the banknotes into his briefcase and left the bank.  He then re-entered the bank with two observers who had witnessed the transaction and handed back the money to the shocked teller. Messing reportedly did all this...

Through the Power of Influence!

Stalin still wasn’t convinced of Messing’s powers. 

He made Messing undergo a few more experiments under laboratory conditions.  Messing passed all these tests.  Finally, Stalin became a believer.  He made Messing a teacher of “influence” for KGB officers.

Fast forward, January 18^th, 2021 at
12:32 pm at a Bank of America branch in Los Angeles.

My student James Fernandez (named changed for privacy reasons) walks to the teller and asked her for $1,500 cash.

Unlike Messing, James didn’t even have a note.  He wasn’t asked for any form of ID.  He didn’t have a withdrawal slip.  Nothing!  Just “give me $1,500” and gets handed the money – no questions asked. 

The next day James went back and met the bank manager and informed him of the experiment.  The manager told James the bank was short $1,500.  They looked at the video footage from the day before and the manager was shocked how casually James was handed the money.  It seemed as if a lion had locked eyes on a deer.  The deer then just walked up to the lion offering himself up as a meal. 

What just happened?  How do you explain these phenomena?

James was conducting an experiment to test his “powers.”  The same powers Wolf Messing was using back then.  How do I know these were the same powers?  I know because one of the few KGB officers who was taught by Messing shared this knowledge with me. 

What’s this power?
